Perhaps the most important aspect is knowing how much each service is charging to let you perform geocoding. *
Some services like OpenRouteService and OpenStreetMap Nominatim are free to use!

Authentication

All geocoding services (except OpenStreetMap Nominatim) require an API key to function.
