Tuesday, December 19, 2023

Intro

A while ago we announced a beta version of TMS Smart Setup, a revolutionary new way to install components / packages, maintain & update them in one go. We also announced our entire FNC suite is ready for TMS Smart Setup. If you have a license to one or more FNC products, a license to the TMS FNC Component Studio or TMS ALL Access, then TMS Smart Setup should show you the FNC products entitled to your account. Today we also uploaded improvements & fixes to both our normal installers & TMS Smart Setup as well as introduced BETA access to a brand new FNC product for TMS ALL Access users.

TMS FNC Gantt Chart BETA

TMS Software Delphi Components

TMS FNC Gantt Chart has been announced a couple of weeks ago via a webinar and shortly after, we uploaded a BETA version available for the attendees. Right now we also open the BETA to all TMS ALL-ACCESS users for both the normal way of installing and TMS Smart Setup.

TMS FNC Maps

TMS Software Delphi Components

TMS FNC Maps brings some smaller improvements and fixes as well as a very important change related to deprecated Here Maps API endpoints. We pro-actively changed this in our source code so you can continue to enjoy TMS FNC Maps in combination with Here Maps APIs during the holidays.

TMS FNC UI Pack

TMS Software Delphi Components

The update of TMS FNC UI Pack brings wordwrapping on item level for TTMSFNCPlanner based on user feedback as well some smaller fixes related to TTMSFNCTreeView, TTMSFNCSignatureCapture and TTMSFNCEdit.

TMS FNC Core

TMS Software Delphi Components

TMS FNC Core brings some significant improvements related to SVG parsing & HTML Wordwrapping for Asian languages.

Important Notice

Note that although the TMS Smart Setup FNC version is the same as the normal standalone setup.exe versions downloadable via Subscription Manager, the installation mechanism is different, the content of the product bundles are different. TMS Smart Setup is running a beta period so it's possible that there are installation issues depending on the environment. Please let us know should you miss something. Please install in a clean environment and make sure to first uninstall all older FNC products installed in the old fashioned way through Control Panel. The zip files that are extracted before installation contain all neccessary demos, files as if you would install via a normal installation. Feel free to provide us with any feedback you have, as a comment on this blog, or via one of our social media channels.
