Feature overview

TMS Cryptography Pack contains strong and up to date native Pascal algorithms to perform most cryptographic operations. It includes algorithms to encrypt/decrypt, sign/verify, hash and authenticate data and files.

The list of algorithm includes:

• AES ECB-CBC-OFB-CTR-CTS modes with PKCS#7 padding
• AES MAC
• AES GCM
• SPECK: 256-bit key sizes and CBC mode with PKCS#7 padding only (all other key sizes and modes no longer supported)
• RSA 2048, 3072 and 4096 key sizes (new properties have been added – see RSA section in documentation)
• ECDSA and EdDSA (ed25519, ed448, ed 511187, P521, P384 and P256)
• ECIES with ed25519 only, other curves will be added in future releases if there is enough demand
• SALSA
• SHA1 to ensure compatibility with several (not so recent) RFCs
• SHA-2 with 256, 384 and 512-bit hash sizes
• SHA-3 with 256, 384 and 512-bit hash sizes
• PBKDF 2 (SHA1 support has been added for ZIP key derivation)
• HKD
• Blake2B
• RIPEMD-160 is deprecated, and no longer supported
• Argon2
• Generation of X509 self-signed certificates with improvements (more field / OIDs are supported)
• Generation of X509 CSR, with support for RSA 2048 / SHA 256 only
• XAdES with predefined templates to satisfy national regulations (see XadES section for use)
• CAdES
• PAdES
• xChaCha20 (a stream cipher)
• TLSH (a non cryptographic hash)
• ZIP encryption services supporting the AE-2 requirements

Test vectors from relevant RFCs have been used to validate the algorithms, when they exist. RFCs are usually identified in comments in .pas files.

TMS Cryptography Pack contains class wrappers for the supported cryptography functions and various demos. The registered version comes with full source code of the class wrappers to cryptography functions provided fully in native Pascal code. TMS Cryptography Pack can be used in VCL Windows 32/64 and FMX Windows 32/64, OS X, iOS32, iOS64 and Android apps.
