What's new in TMS FNC UI Pack and TMS FNC Dashboard Pack

Wednesday, January 31, 2024

TMS Software Delphi Components Last week we released TMS FNC Gantt Chart, but that was not the only new addition to our ever growing list of FNC family!

In case you missed it, we've extended our TMS FNC UI Pack and TMS FNC Dashboard Pack products with new controls. This not only adds an extra layer of functionality but also ensures a smooth migration path for users currently utilizing TMS FMX UI Pack. Let's take a look at what's new!

TMS FNC UI Pack

Within the TMS FNC UI Pack, we've introduced the following controls:

  • TTMSFNCTouchKeyboard/TTMSFNCPopupTouchKeyboard:
TTMSFNCTouchKeyboard and TTMSFNCPopupTouchKeyboard are virtual keyboards including typical layouts such as QWERTY, QWERTZ, AZERTY, DVORAK, Cellphone and Numeric. These controls are supported in desktop applications on macOS and Windows, and WEB applications.

  • TTMSFNCSpinner:
A modern scrolling selector control with draggable wheels, letting you choose from predefined numbers and dates, as well as adding your own custom values.

TMS FNC Dashboard Pack

Under this pack we've included 3 new controls:

  • TTMSFNCWidgetLEDBar:
A control for displaying a variable number of LEDs, with the ability to customize each LED's ON/OFF status and color preferences.

  • TTMSFNCWidgetLEDScope:
A collection of LED channels with LED segments that can be displayed in an active or inactive state. Each LED channel has a Start-, Stop-, ActiveStart- and ActiveStopColor. The transition between these colors is automatically calculated for each LED segment in the meter.

  • TTMSFNCWidgetMatrixLabel:
A configurable amount of LED matrices in form of a control, bringing that classic LED matrix display look. It has various customizability options: text scrolling animation, control orientation, colors and different color parts in the next.

What's next

Our goal is to make the migration from TMS FMX UI Pack as seamless as possible. More components are in the works, so keep an eye out for future versions! In the meantime, if there's anything specific you're missing, don't hesitate to let us know!

Hello,
I just checked and in my installation for Lazarus there is neither TTMSFNCTouchKeyboard/TTMSFNCPopupTouchKeyboard nor TTMSFNCSpinner. The source files are only available for FMX/VCL/WEBLib. Will these components be available for lazarus?

I second this, I could really use a virtual keyboard for Lazarus, would be a big help for my RPi apps!
