Embarcadero has just released the Starter Editionj of Delphi XE as C++ Builder XE. This edition accepts 3rd party components like the VCL components of TMS or even some wizards, assistants, albeit the Started Edition doesn't support the command-line compiler which is known as one of the Starter's limitations compared to the Professional SKUs.
Upon installing one of the VCL components, the compilation method should be set to 'Manual'. Using this option a text file will be shown how to compile and install the component using the IDE. It may be some tedious work.
Isn't it possible to distribute binary verskion of the components for Starter users? Components from other companies always get delivered as only binary files.
