Im having trouble specifying the date format for the a column.
Where do I set the format.

Do you refer to TTIWAdvWebGrid or TTIWDBAdvWebGrid ? If this is TTIWDBAdvWebGrid, this is typically done on persistent TField level. If this is for TTIWAdvWebGrid, apply the format at the time you set the value as text in the grid cell.
