Is there anyway of making the crosshair also show the x-axis values? I have particular values that it would be useful to also include on fairly dense bar graphs.

With the current implementation no, the crosshairs are Y-values only.
We have added this on our feature request list.

That'll be great. Perhaps the x-values can be in upper left quadrant. In my case a message would then read, eg. 1986 | 7344
