When using the new project from import firebird does not import any of the database object comments.
The generate script does not generate the comments for the database.

This shows a lack of support for the describe/comment on syntaxes, losing information between the database import/generation.

Both of these features are in our todo-list (tracker items 0000902 and 0000903) and will be implemented ASAP. To keep yourself updated about the status of pending issues, as well as to report new issues, you can access the TMS Bug Tracker.

When I try to use my login/password it does not accept it and when I tell it that I lost my password, it responds "< ="-" ="text/; =utf-8">The provided information doesn't match any registered account!"

The tracker has its own login/password which is different from the one you use to download the products.
I have reset your password, you should receive an e-mail with new password in your registration e-mail account.

Do you have an expected timeframe for support of database object comments / descriptions?

I need it quite ugently, and expected that it would be implemented quite soon after your reply on 20 Oct. stating that it would be implemented ASAP... ;)

Hello Vedel,

The feature will be available in the next version of Data Modeler, which will be released early this month.

Hi Ricardo - will this be a '2.0' release or another point release?

Hi Dalton,

The version to be released this week is not 2.0 yet.
But in the coming weeks we will be working to support new databases and some major features.

Hi Ricardo

Has the planned feature list been compiled for 2.0?

Hi Dalton,

for now we have planned the Firebird comments support, and also we will include support for Advantage and PostgreSQL databases. Other minor improvements might be included, but we don't know yet at this time.
